Ashok Mudgapalli, Ph.D., assistant professor in the office of the vice chancellor for research, will present “Data Storage Options for Research” on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Sorrell Center, Room 2018.

The UNMC Research IT Office offers various data storage options for research data. The storage offerings are classified based on data type (HIPAA vs. non-HIPAA), storage location (onsite, offsite, and cloud), data backup and replication, and cost. This presentation also will discuss current UNMC data storage practices and recommended best practices. Dr. Mudgapalli is UNMC’s first director of research information technology.
