Kaitlin Carlson

Kaitlin is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in the state of Nebraska and a licensed independent social worker (LISW) in the state of Iowa. Kaitlin received her Master of Social Work from University of Nebraska-Omaha. Prior to UNMC, Kaitlin worked in community mental health, along with mental health crisis response.

Kaitlin uses trauma-informed practices and a strengths-based approach to address an individual’s goals. She has a passion for helping students navigate life transitions and values the significant impact support services have on students. Kaitlin tends to integrate mindfulness, values work, and acceptance-commitment therapy.

In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys traveling, music, exploring different foods, and spending time with those closest to her.
