Pedro Tostes, PLMHP
Pedro is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in the state of Nebraska. He received his Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from the University of Nebraska Omaha and has previously worked as an intern for UNMC CAPS and the UNO Community Clinic. Originally from Brasilia, Brazil, Pedro is trilingual, also offering services in Portuguese and Spanish as needed.
Pedro has been trained in multiple evidence-based theoretical modalities, including TF-CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. He utilizes an Existential approach to help students find meaning and feel authentic as they navigate daily-life stressors and make major life decisions.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing soccer, exploring new foods and recharging by spending quality time with the ones closest to him.
